Atlanta’s GPS Hospitality Earns Top Honors as Georgia Fast 40 Company

BURGER KING® Franchisee Recognized for Outstanding Three-Year Revenue & Employee Growth

ATLANTA – (June 12, 2015) – GPS Hospitality, an Atlanta-based BURGER KING® franchisee, has been recognized by the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) as one of the top three honorees of 2015 Georgia Fast 40 in the Upper-Middle Market category.

In less than three years, GPS Hospitality has acquired 136 Burger King franchise locations through five acquisitions. By focusing on its goal-focused, talent-oriented approach to franchise management, GPS Hospitality sustains rapid growth by attracting and retaining the top talent in the quick service restaurant (QSR) food industry. GPS Hospitality aims to continue expansion under the leadership of industry veteran and former CEO of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Tom Garrett.

“The team’s hard work and shared vision to make our restaurants our guests’ favorite fast food destinations has positioned GPS Hospitality for further expansion and success,” said Tom Garrett, CEO and Founder. “Being ranked among Georgia’s fastest-growing companies is truly an honor. I’m thrilled to share this award with the entire GPS Hospitality team and our trusted partners at Nonami Investments and The Cynosure Group.”

Each year, ACG Atlanta honors Georgia-based middle market companies that demonstrate the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the prior three years. To be eligible for the Georgia Fast 40, companies must be headquartered in Georgia, be for profit, have the most recent year-end revenues ranging from $15 million to $500 million, and be able to demonstrate three years of sustained revenue and employment growth.

“We are very impressed with the caliber of companies that are being honored this year,” stated Dan Bauer, ACG Atlanta Chapter President. “These companies exemplify ACG’s focus on Middle-Market growth and demonstrate the strength and significance of this sector in Georgia.”
