ATLANTA – (April 4, 2016) – After acquiring over 220 BURGER KING® restaurants across nine states in less than four years, GPS Hospitality today announces the acquisition of seven Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen restaurants throughout metro Atlanta to its portfolio along with plans to develop new restaurants throughout the Atlanta area and in West Virginia.
The purchase marks the first agreement between Popeyes® and GPS Hospitality, which has attracted acclaim across the Quick Service Restaurant industry for using its goal-focused and talent-oriented approach to franchise management to rapidly become one of the largest BURGER KING franchisees in the U.S.
