GPS Hospitality Purchases 14 Burger King Restaurants in Home State of Georgia

Largest Franchisee in Georgia with 70 Restaurants

ATLANTA – (October 27, 2015) – On the heels of celebrating their third anniversary, BURGER KING® franchisee GPS Hospitality today announces the purchase of 14 BURGER KING® restaurants in their home state of Georgia.

These new locations include North Georgia cities of Gainesville, Buford and the Athens area. During the past two months, GPS has purchased 24 total BURGER KING® restaurants in the Peach State.

“What better way to celebrate our third anniversary than to continue our company’s growth right here in our home state,” said Tom Garrett, CEO. “This is a testament to the focused team we have in place, and we look forward to growing that team as we expand.”

In the past three years, GPS has exponentially grown from their original 42 restaurants in Atlanta to 221 restaurants across nine states. The company will have remodeled 29 restaurants in the state by the end of this year and plans to open their second new location in December.

GPS Hospitality was recently recognized by the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) as one of the fastest growing Georgia companies in 2014. Last month, they completed a successful multi-state job fair hiring more than 700 new team members.
