ATLANTA – (September 6, 2016) – With a need for friendly and energetic staff, BURGER KING® and Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen franchisee GPS Hospitality today announces that it will host a job fair at 227 of its restaurants nationwide on Monday, Sept. 12 with the goal of hiring 500 new employees.
“Our crew members are the true front lines of our company. We know from experience how important it is to hire quality, motivated employees that are determined to provide superior service,” said CEO Tom Garrett. “Our job fairs provide a great way to connect with new talent that we can train and nurture into leaders.”
Last year’s job fair exceeded expectations and resulted in GPS Hospitality hiring more than 700 new employees.
Managers will be on-site at participating restaurants to meet with applicants and to conduct interviews between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary, and qualified applicants may be hired on-the-spot.
“We want to provide our prospective employees with the right tools and training for them to succeed, and that process begins with a face-to-face conversation to ensure a good fit,” said Mike Kovac, Vice President of Operations. “As we continue to expand, we’re going to need both crew members and managers that are goal oriented and share our focus on being Service Obsessed.”
